Connect with your Angel
Sometimes in the day to day practicalities called “real life” we become separated from our spiritual self, and forget we are all spiritual beings on a human journey. Yes, sometimes, if we find the silence and the time to talk with our Angels, the answers to little problems are just a heartbeat away.
Angels have been with us since the beginning of all time, and angels are with you in spirit or human form from the day you were born.Angels are here to guard us and help us, support us, comfort us and reassure us.
However, you need to ask an Angel their help as they won’t come to you normally unless they are called, with the exception of course of coming to aid a perilous situation. Angels will not interfere with your free will, so don’t throw yourself of a building hoping some winged creature will save you, it does not work like that! If you are making a decision from your free will, don’t expect your Angel to intervene.
Angels like you to talk to them, confide in them and ask for guidance (but don’t “pray” to them, they don’t like that!). With the help of your Angels you will spiritually advance and your soul’s journey greatly enriched. My angels remind me that the happier we are, the more we are apt to do good in the world. If you don’t get something you ask for, assume it is not in your highest good at this time.
To communicate or make first contact with your Angel, it is best to do this when you are quiet, in mediation and when it feels right and comfortable to you. Now remember when asking, that Angels are spiritual beings, being of energy and of light. Whilst pictured as humans with wings they are more likely to be “seen” if at all, as a light orb. The answers your Angels gives may not come in the form of communication we are used to. Angels are not seen, but the “voice” that comes to you suddenly or the “thought” that pops into your mind, or simply the light bulb moment that changes the direction of your life forever. If an Angel has a message for you it may come to you in many ways, through thought but also through colours, sounds and that feeling that comes from our gut, or sometimes through our dreams or in the form of a recently departed loved one.
Thoughts, you see, are not necessarily your own. If something just “pops” into your thinking, take note.
An Angel may offer help in another way. More often than not we will find ourselves presented the next day with a book, or a ticket to a show, or open a magazine at random and find an article that solves the problem. I am sure you have read my favorite phrase “we meet people for a reason, season or lifetime” “No such thing as a chance meeting” well sometimes the answers are met by the angels orchestrating a meeting with the right person. It’s no coincidence. It’s because there is a reason. Have you ever been property hunting and suddenly you walk into the agent you were not going to bother with, and they have your ideal home? Ever stopped of at the motorway for groceries and been delayed on your journey for 10 minutes to find when you rejoin that 10 minutes ahead was a fatal accident? Chances are your Angels are distracting you or directing you to where you need to be.
It is easier to think of an Angel as pure energy with its own vibration, with the expressions and will of the divine. By communicating with your Angel you awaken a consciousness if divinity deep with you. The divine energy in which they operate is from light and with love, people who have been close to their Angels often report a surge of amazing love and light.
Your guardian Angels already knows you. You may have not made contact but they will have been watching over you, waiting, since the moment you were born. Your Angels are not going too judge you, not going to find fault with you, but they will listen and if you ask for their help they will help you.
Maybe today try and make contact with your Angel?

Life is 1% what happens to you, 99% how you deal with it
Its been a difficult week, but its times like this that I find my faith and fundamental beliefs are put to the test more than at any other time. My greatest saying that I mention alot is “life is 1% what happens to you, 99% how you deal with it” and these are alongside my belief that “There is no such things as a chance meeting”, “everything happens for a reason” “people are in your life for a reason, season or lifetime” and one should always “count your blessings”
When your world is soured by life events, thats when these phrases that I live by really mean something, touch my core and help me move forward.
There is no such thing as a chance meeting….
I believe that our life is preordained by ourselves within our soul groups before incarnation. We need to meet people from within our soul group to propel us into situations that will help us learn what we are here to learn. Therefore, there is no point regretting knowing anyone we meet.We can all learn from people in our lives.
Everything happens for a reason….
Even the bad stuff. I believe we meet who we are meant to meet to give us situations that we will grow spiritually from. Though in earthly terms these things that happen may not always be pleasant. There is no such thing as a bad experience, only a necessary one.
A reason season or a lifetime…..
I believe we meet people we are meant to meet along the way to serve purpose to our soul journey. There may be a reason somone is in our life and they may just stay a short time, they may stay longer, or we may be fortunate enough (as I am) to have met a soul mate who (I pray) will be with me a lifetime.
Count your blessings……
Along our earthly journey, whilst we struggle to know the full extent of our spiritual one, its important to count our blessings in every situation, and look for the good and great. After all there are always people that are not as fortunate as we are…..
I find the lyrics to Turn Turn Turn so utterly perfect at this juncture in time. There is a time for everything, so whatever life throws at you, its part of the journey of life, to be embraced, to learn from and grow spiritually from……and with that perspective…..its possible to continually move forwards.
After all…”Life is 1% what happens to you, 99% how you deal with it“
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late

Monday 14th June
Its been a busy week, tweeting and sending out news that the book is now out. Most of the week was dedicated to planning and preparing workshops for schools. Its really important to me that Sarah’s Story has been told for a reason, and I believe that reason is to help other young teens or young adults. Really pleased with the content, and am looking forward to using all my “drama” experience in making the workshops lively and fun for teens. Some great debates come from out of the book. It amazes me that what was relevant to a teen back in 1985 is still relevant now in certain situations. Throw in social media into the pot though and it all looks quite a dangerous world for a teen.
A teen lad read the book and his Mum actually came up to me with his comments informing me that he could relate to so many things within his peer group, especially the girls. It seems from the age of 14 teens are utterly obsessive about their diet and trying to conform to think media stereotypes. Girls seemed to talk about making themselves sick” more freely as bulimia is seen a more acceptable and almost a way of “weight management”. When I hear things like this, I feel quite distressed at the world we are creating for young adults. It should be self esteem and self value being taught in a bid to empower young people have the confidence to love themselves for who they are. Surly the greatest lesson we can teach young adults is INNER confidence and the self belief that (in the words of Penny Power) being YOU is ENOUGH.
Friday 4th June
Ive been away with my family on holiday in Egypt for a week…..and of course I simply HAD to take a few books with me to leave in the book libraries you get around All Inclusive hotel grounds…..so imagine my delight when casually sitting round the pool I spotted people reading MY BOOK! Oooooh **shivers** of delight. Of course, with all that excitement bubbling inside and as women do an awful lot of chatting I did let it slip that the book was now out which of course lead to being asked if I had a copy (well of course I had a copy) and it was the best feeling in the world to sign the book for a couple of people.
However, an absolute blessing this week was one lady whose son who was 14 read the book. I had left it for her at the hotel reception and her son and she had picked it up that evening. The following afternoon she found me by the pool and told me that her son had been totally engaged by the book that he read it all in one sitting……and thought a young lad of 14 he could totally elate to the issues raised within the book explaining that they were so relevant to his peer group here and now. This feedback just bought tears to my eyes, because it was so from the heart, I cant tell you of a moment I have felt prouder.
